Gemini New Moon

The Twins: Gemini New Moon

 Tending to seeds of truth

“Our biggest fear is not in expressing the truth but that we will be attacked or belittled because of our truth.” – Kelli Wilson

We are now in a transition from Spring to Summer. Gemini marks the end of a season. It’s the distillation and assimilation of the lessons we experienced from

First Aries (the spark and ushering in something new) and

Then Taurus (committing to, valuing, and sustaining it).

Mutable signs mark the end of a season, they help us harvest what we need for our next growth phase and release the rest.

Gemini rules mental stimulation, learning, and getting to the heart of our truths. Depicted by the symbol of the twins, It’s the ability to see both sides of a situation and the perspective we gain through mirroring others. It is how we assimilate and integrate information; sorting through and distilling it down in order to come into alignment with our truth.

This is a time to honor intense feelings as they arise. To find the medicine that lies under our rage, resentment, and anger. To find ways to support our unmet needs and vulnerabilities. To advocate for ourselves through clearly communicating boundaries, responsibilities, and renegotiating outdated roles.

The Air element ritual goods support clarity, foresight, and discernment. The aromatics I chose for this blend invigorate the senses. They help to clear the mind and improve memory recall. I use them often for managing migraines and headaches as they contain peppermint. The air necklace is my talisman for the year to remind me of my word for 2020; focus.

May this new moon provide opportunities for speaking and carrying forward the seeds of our truth.

What in your life is calling you?
when all the noise is silenced,
the meetings adjourned,
the lists laid aside.
And the wild iris blooms by itself in the dark forest…….

what still pulls on your soul?
