What a year for the Snowberries!

All the berries are in abundance this year

Will it be a harsh winter I wonder?

St. Michaelmas day was certainly bright.

But the snowberries, so perfectly round and white

How haven’t I really noticed them,

or at least haven’t given them more than a cursory glance

In all my life until now!
