Spring energies rise 

and majestic naked winter trees fizzle sizzle tingle back into life 

with lime green buds popping at the tips of every branch before our very eyes

I can feel it in my fingers and toes

I can feel it in my bones

I can feel it in my heart

I can feel it in my lungs

I feel the gentle caress of the sun on my skin
