Pisces New moon

Dreams, liminality, the place between sleep and waking. The time of reawakening, stirring out of hibernation bringing the dreams of winter to the shore of consciousness.

The final sign of the zodiac, the birthing of the dream. Believe.

The fish has a reputation for being emotional and dreamy, but also exceptionally supportive of all matters of self-love.
Offer yourself kindness on this new moon. Give yourself the support you need.

Love yourself back to life. Be who you are. The best way, the only way, to be of service is to be what you love, be where you love. Show up, it is enough.
Sarah Varcas reminds us to keep in mind that the moon is an Archetype that resides inside of us. It represents our own nurturing and mothering nature, our compassionate side, our loving self.

“This gentle moon repairs broken hearts and fractured souls. She mends rifts, heals wounds and reintegrates all that’s divided. She knows separation as a mirage that dissolves in the light of truth and asks us to be gently bold and courageously compassionate in the coming days. To love where we thought we could not, and connect where we seek to avoid. For unconditional love is always her first option – towards others and ourselves.”

as we face the truth at the end of the astrological year, not shaming or blaming but seeing a fuller picture as to why we did what we did and why we are where we are, and learning the lessons to go forward into the new year in truth.

As Rebekah Shaman explains in her thought provoking Lunascope,

We have reached the end of this Zodiac cycle, with this final moon before Spring Equinox. The energy is going to change dramatically, so we may find this Pisces new moon emotional and uncomfortable.

The Pisces new moon is usually the most watery moon of the zodiac, but this year we may find it a bit more tearful and emotional, we are having to face our deepest regrets, and accept shattered dreams.

We also still have three planets in Aquarius – Mercury, Saturn and Jupiter, and four planets in Pisces – Sun, Moon, Venus and Neptune, creating a very creative, beautiful and ethereal energy, strengthening our intuition, but also sparking inner conflict.

When our intuition gets stronger it can create conflict between what our rational minds are telling us, and what our hearts are showing us.

However, when we trust our intuition things become more effortless and synchronistic. Especially when the flow of life gets intense and we are having to make important decisions without knowing what is happening next.

In order to surf this moon wave more smoothly, listen and act on your inner voice. Surrender to the flow, and allow each step to come and meet you. Be open to the `wild` thoughts that you would not normally follow, these are the magical ones.

Adding to this Lunar energy, on the 10th March the Sun conjuncts Neptune in Pisces and shines a light on our hidden secrets. Expect both public and personal revelations and disclosures that could force us to re-evaluate our reality, and make those changes we have been putting off or avoiding.

This may trigger some old wounds, and we may feel overwhelmed and frustrated, especially if we are feeling trapped in a relationship, a job, or stuck in a rut and not reaching our full potential.

Don’t be surprised if you find yourself having a good sob during the next two weeks. Crying recalibrates our bodies and can make us feel more balanced and calm, especially if we have been under immense stress and pressure.

Instead of getting lost in the victim mentality, utilise this intuitive new moon by going into the silence, so that you can hear the solutions that are hidden within you.

Over this Moon we can also receive very powerful visualisations of the future, a new direction, or a new project, or creative endeavour. If you are receiving a vision of something, begin nurturing the idea instead of burying it back down with limited beliefs.

This is also a great time to set a new intention and use the magical and mystical qualities of this Pisces new moon to dream creatively and without limits. Start a dream diary, especially if you are feeling your dreams are communicating something to you.

Every morning jot down whatever you remember from your dreams. We can hear our deepest desires during this new moon, so be open to receive the messages from our unconscious, as they come bubbling up.

This Pisces moon is the final push to let go of regrets and create the space to allow new things to come in after the Spring Equinox, so use this time wisely.

Set clear intentions, find the courage to end things that are not serving you, and make the necessary preparations, so that you will have strong roots to grow from for the rest of this year.
I will end this Lunascope with the wise words of Ralph Waldo Emerson:
“Whatever you do, you need courage. Whatever course you decide upon, there is always someone to tell you that you are wrong. There are always difficulties arising that tempt you to believe your critics are right. To map out a course of action and follow it to an end requires some of the same courage that a soldier needs. Peace has its victories, but it takes brave men and women to win them.”
